Where is Infrequency Arts physically located?

Infrequency Arts is an online art gallery based in Victoria, BC, Canada. We respectfully acknowledge that we are located on the unceded traditional territory of the lək̓ʷəŋən People (Songhees and Esquimalt Nations).

Who is Infrequency Arts?

Infrequency was established in 2001 by Canadian artists Jamie Drouin and Lance Austin Olsen to offer our extensive catalogues of visual and sound-based artworks direct from our studios.

Do you accept submissions from artists?

We exclusively represent the works of Lance Austin Olsen, Jamie Drouin, and invited collaborating artists. We are not seeking submissions.

Can you help me select the right artworks?

We can definitely help you with that! Please email us to discuss options.

Where do you ship to?

We ship to Canadian addresses. For international enquiries, please email us for options.

What shipping method is offered?

We offer Canada Post airmail parcel shipping and selection of services such as tracking and parcel insurance. Note that by selecting a shipping option without tracking and/or insurance the buyer assumes all responsibility for loss or damage of parcel.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping prices will be quoted once item has been added to your cart.

How long will shipping take?

Unless otherwise noted on the individual item page, please allow up to 7 days for your order to be processed and securely packaged before hand-off to Canada Post. Since the exact delivery period varies based on destination, we encourage you to visit the Canada Post website to view their estimated service times to your region. Packages can sometimes take longer to be delivered, especially during holiday seasons.

If you selected a shipping method with tracking, we will email you with a tracking number to follow your shipment once available.

How is the artwork packaged?

Most artwork will be flat-packed between multiple layers of corrugated cardboard. Portfolios and thicker works will be wrapped in bubblewrap and placed inside a corrugated cardboard box.

Large-scale artworks (over 20 inches) will be safely rolled and packaged in a sturdy mailing tube.

Do I need to sign for the delivery?

If you selected a shipping method with tracking, yes, a proof-of-delivery signature is typically required.
